AENA network transported in 2015, 715,011 tons of cargo, 4.6% more than in 2014. The four busiest airports that transported more cargo were Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas, with 381 068 tonnes (+3.8% ), Barcelona-El Prat, with 117,219 tons (+14.1%), Zaragoza with 85 741 tonnes (-0.8%) and Vitoria, with 46,371 tonnes (+10%).

Only during the month of December, 61,702 tons of cargo were transported, 5.3% more than in December 2014. The four airports recorded more freight traffic were Barajas (+ 0.6%), El Prat (+19.9%), Zaragoza (+18,2) and Vitoria (+9.2%).
