The last Thursday, May 5^th, GSM coordinated the pick-up and shipment, in Barcelona, of three mechanical parts to the port of Jebel Ali in the United Arab Emirates. This operation was carried out on a 40’ Flat-Rack container from the port of Barcelona.

Due to the cargo characteristics, three cylinders of 3 meters of diameter and 3.15 meters high each, it was necessary to organize a special transport from the warehouse of the client to the port. It was also necessary to coordinate the lashing of goods, through a well-known specialized company of the port, to ensure the correct transportation of the goods during its international journey to the port of destination.

Thanks to the planning of the operation logistic, the container has been embarked aboard the vessel CMA CGM Callisto as planned.
